Product Detail
High Quality Pyrex Borosilicate Glass Tubes for Blowing
High borosilicate glass is made by using the characteristics of glass conduction at high temperature, and the glass is melted by heating inside the glass and processed by advanced production technology. In the glass tube, SiO2 (silicon oxide) >78%, B2O3 (boron oxide) >10%, the content of silicon and boron is very high.
Glass tube blowing method: used to manufacture hollow glass products, such as drinking glasses, utensils, bottles, cans, bulbs, etc. When blowing manually, use a hollow iron torch with a length of about 1.5m, one end is dipped with glass liquid (picking material), and the other end is the mouthpiece. After picking the material, it is rolled and blown on the rolling plate (bowl) to form a glass frit, which is blown into a product in the mold; it can also be blown freely without a mold, and finally knocked off from the blow tube. When forming large-scale products, it is necessary to pick and roll the materials repeatedly to collect enough materials. During mechanical blowing, the glass liquid flows out from the outlet of the glass melting furnace, forms a material droplet of a set weight and shape through the feeder, cuts into the initial mold and blows or presses into the initial mold, and then transfers into the molding mold to blow product. The blow-blow method, which is blown into the initial form and then blown into products, is suitable for making small-mouth utensils and bottles. The pressure-blowing method of pressing into the initial shape and then blowing into products is suitable for making large-mouth vessels and thin-walled bottles and jars.
