Repaire Scratch of Glass Plate
Glass scratches can be repaired by grinding and polishing.
Here are the detailed steps: Prepare tools: variable-speed angle grinder, grinding sand of different grit sizes (35 microns, 20 microns, 10 microns, 5 microns), wool polishing disc, polishing, matching base plate, spray water bottle. Grinding process: First, assemble the grinding base plate and attach the green grinding pad for initial grinding.
Then, it with pink, blue, and orange grinding pads in sequence to gradually refine the scratch. Polishing process: Switch to the polishing base plate, attach the wool, and apply polishing paste to the grinding area. Start the variable-speed angle grinder and proceed with the polishing. Maintain a continuous water flow to prevent the glass fromating.
Complete repair: After grinding and polishing, clean the glass and check if the scratch has been effectively repaired. It is important to note that throughout the process the temperature of the glass surface should be constantly monitored to avoid further damage due to overheating.
Additionally, during grinding and polishing, use a back-and-forthzag or circular motion to avoid stopping at one point, which could cause severe deformation.
